Fred has more than 5 years of Health, Safety and Environment management and consulting experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, Technology and Management from Kyambogo University.
He is experienced in conducting Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA); implementing Environmental and Social Safeguards, Health and Safety measures; Waste Management; Conservation and Sustainable Development.
He has undertaken several professional trainings such as NEBOSH International General Certificate in Health and Safety (NEBOSH IGC); OSHA Construction Safety and Health (OSHA CSH); Environment, Health and Safety Management in the Oil and Gas Industry; Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015, 45001:2018 & ISO 14001:2015), Environmental Valuation, Evaluation and Accounting, Mechanical Lifting and Rigging; Environmental and Social Safeguards; and Occupational First Aid among others.
He possesses functional skills in HSE Induction and Training of workers; HSE Policies, Procedure and Plan development; Implementation and audit of QHSE Management Systems; HSE monitoring and enforcement; Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment; Permit to Work systems; Accident and Incident investigation; First Aid and Incident Scene Management; Waste management; and Environmental impact mitigation. Also, he is competent and experienced in the use of HSE Software and Microsoft with good leadership and Interpersonal skills. Moreover, he has excellent planning and prioritization skills, conflict resolution skills and acknowledges multi-cultural diversity.
