Joseph Kirembeka

Joseph is an energy specialist with strong energy project design, and clean energy generation and storage experience. He is an expert in development of carbon dioxide capture designs that reduce emission of carbon dioxide into the environment. Currently, his focus is on production and storage of clean energy from renewable sources and its use in processing industries and communities. He holds a First Class Honours (CGPA 4.83), Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering from Kyambogo University. Currently, he is pursuing his Master of Science in Process engineering at Taita Taveta University in Kenya. His focus areas are in the design and use of renewable energies in processing industries and communities.
He has over years provided consultancy services in chemical plant design and design of sustainable energy projects from clean sources. He is an expert in modeling, simulation and optimization of industrial energy processes. Moreover, he conducts feasibility studies for energy investments and preparation of engineering designs for renewable energy projects and chemical plants. His experience in the use of engineering design soft wares such as Aspen Hysys, to perform energy and material balances, preparations of PFDs, P&IDS, process and instrument data sheets and troubleshooting, makes him able to run and manage big energy projects. He was the president of the Association of Chemical Engineers at Kyambogo University.
As such, Joseph is skilled in leadership as well as acquainted with the management of complex energy projects including feasibility studies, preliminary design (Front End Engineering and Design), detailed design, construction, commissioning and start up, and troubleshooting.
He has undertaken professional trainings, such as energy management in industries, generation and storage of clean energy, and alternatives energy sources.
